Inspired by German Bankers August and Herman Upmann in the 1840’s, ‘Barbier’ (German for Barber) is an artisanal barber pole cigar celebrating the brothers’ trend towards men’s grooming and the importance of remaining coiffed with their distinctive beards when meeting with high society clients. The cigar provides a balanced and flavorful smoking with notes of rich tobacco, cocoa, nuttiness and a subtle spice on the finish.
